Controls trace normalization for stimulus-response measurements.

The NORM command turns on trace normalization. When trace normalization is turned on, its operation depends on whether a logarithmic or linear display is selected. With logarithmic displays, AMB ON is executed, and the reference level is set to 0 dB. With linear displays, the reference level o￿set and display line are set to place the current reference trace at the top of the screen and set it equal to a value of 1.000X. Next, the ADBTL trace math function is turned on. This normalizes the current trace to 1.000X.

Turning o￿ trace normalization simply disables the trace math enabled when NORM ON was executed. Note that turning o￿ normalization in linear mode does not reset ROFFSET or DL to their previous values.
