A system prompt indicates that callers hear silence while the system tries to locate their party. This prompt explains to callers why all of a sudden they hear silence for an extended period of time before connecting to the Remote Extension. This prompt cannot be disabled.
If you have two or more units on a LAN, we recommend that you load a .wav file to the system of units. If you use an external music source, supply a music source to each TalkSwitch unit. 1/8" audio splitters are available at most electronics stores.
