Controlling the E5250A

Switch Control Basics

Card Number: One digit: 1 to 4. E5250A slot number in which card is installed.

Channel Number: Four digits: XXYY.

•XX: input port number (depends on the block number). 01, 02, or 03 for IV Input Port Number.

51, 52, or 53 for BIAS Input Port Number.

The input port number depends only on the block number, and does not depend on which the E5250A SMU Input is connected to the IV Input.

•YY: output port number (01 to 08).

Channel Number assignment is shown in Figure 5-6.
