Restrictions for Using the Routine

Capacitance Compensation Routine can be used only in an program runs on HP BASIC. Corrected data by the routine is not guaranteed. But typical data (supplemental data) is as follows:

Capacitance measurement accuracy: ±1 % ±0.5 pF

This typical data is for the following measurement conditions:

Frequency:

1 kHz to 1 MHz

Measurement Range:

Maximum 1000 pF

Measurement Terminal:

At the end of the Agilent 16494A-001 (1.5 m triaxial

cable) connected to the E5252A output terminal.

The typical data does not apply to cable or anything extended from the 16494A triaxial cable. Also the conditions specified in “Required Conditions” on page 6-30 must be satisfied.
