How to View Support Tools Logs

How to View Support ToolsInstall Logs

When you install Support Tools, two log ﬁles that are created:

•C:\Temp\SupportTools_Setup.log This is the general Support Tools install log ﬁle. If there

are any problems installing Support Tools, this would be the ﬁrst place the support staff or

development would look.

•C:\Temp\CiscoUniﬁedIPSEC_ST_Conﬁgure.log This is the log ﬁle associated with

conﬁguring IPSEC. Since IPSEC is conﬁgured via it’s own VBScript ﬁle, it has it’s own log

ﬁle. If there are any IPSEC errors, this would be a good place to look for more information.

How to View Support Tools Server and STNA Log Files

When Support Tools is running, it creates log ﬁles, which are stored at

<installDirectory>\SupportTools\logs There are two kinds of log ﬁles: status and history ﬁles.
