About Installing Support Tools

Installing Support Tools consists of:

1.Installing the Support Tools Server to a central server with access to your ICM system. Optionally, you can install the Support Tools Server on multiple servers to provide multiple access paths. Note, however, that data is not shared between these separate installations.

Note: The Node is automatically included in the Support Tools Server installation; a separate installation of the node on this machine is not required.

2.Installing the Support Tools Node on each ICM or related Cisco Product to be managed from the Support Tools Dashboard.

Support Tools Installation Tasks

To install Support Tools, follow the sequence of steps in the checklist below. Each of these steps is described in greater detail in following sections. Review this list before proceeding with the installation.
