To set the default Flash device for the system, use the cd command.

cd [[m/]device:]

Syntax Description

Defaults The default Flash device is bootflash.

Command Types Switch command.

Command Modes Normal.

Usage Guidelines A colon (:) is required after the specified device.

With commands where the device is an option, if the default dev ice is not specif ied , the de vice set by the

cd command is used.

Examples This example shows how to set the system default Flash device to bootflash:
