To set the SNMP interface alias, use the set snmp ifalias command.

set snmp ifalias {ifIndex} [ifAlias]

Syntax Description

Defaults This command has no default settings.

Command Types Switch command.

Command Modes Privileged.

Usage Guidelines The ifAlias string can contain 0 to 64 characters.
