Explanation of Terminology and Functionality of the AFE 01.2004

Indexed parameters These parameters are divided into various "indices" (i001, i002, etc.). A separate parameter value can be assigned to each index.

The meaning of the "indices" of the relevant parameter (parameter number) can be found in Section "Parameter List".

Data sets	"Indexed" parameters are divided according to data sets (indexed).
	♦ GRD/RES (basic or reserve setting):
	These data sets make it possible, e.g. to switch from manual to
	automatic mode.
	♦ RDS (reserve data set) 1 or 2:
	Two reserve data sets can be parameterized, e.g. for alternating
	operation of different converter types on one AFE.
	The data sets are selected via the "control word" and read out in r012
	and r152, see Section "Function Diagrams".
