Installation

2. CTL Head Replacement

(1) Desolder the two leads from the CTL head.

(2) Remove the screw at the back side of the CTL

head assembly and the CTL head.

(3) Put the boss of CTL bracket in the hole at the

bottom of the new CTL head and tighten the

screw.

(4) Solder the two leads to the printed circuit

board of the CTL head.

(Refer to the (1) in the step 2.)

Never mistake the soldering positions. If mis-

taking, the serious tape interchange ability

trouble will occure.

3. Entrance Head Assembly Installation

(1) Put the two bosses of the chassis in the two

reference guide holes of the entrance head as-

sembly and tighten the two screws.

(2) Connect the harness connector to the connec-

tor CN3 on the CTL-10 board.

4. Entrance Head Assembly Cleaning

Clean the CTL head, erase head, cleaning blade

and tape guides using a cleaning cloth moistened

with cleaning fluid.

After cleaning, be sure to wipe using a dry cleaning

cloth.
