4-2. Parts Replacement

21.Tension Regulator Arm Assembly Installation

Attach the tension regulator arm assembly. (Refer to section 4-2-20.)

22. Band Holder Installation

Attach the band stopper using one screw.

23. Drum Assembly Installation

(1)Clean the contact surfaces of the drum assem- bly and chassis using a cleaning cloth moist- ened with cleaning fluid.

. When holding the drum assembly, be sure to hold the area where video heads are not in- stalled.

. Take care not to touch the drum assembly against the stationary heads.

(2)Connect the three connectors (CN1, CN2 and CN3) to the lower board of the drum.

(3)Put the two positioning pins of the chassis to the holes of the drum assembly.

(4)Move the drum assembly a little and check that the drum assembly is put in the position- ing pins.

(5)Tighten the three screws.
