7. Gear Block AssembIy InstaIIation

(1) While connecting the connector of the tape top

sensor that connects to the gear block assem-

bly to the connector on the SE-210 board

which is attached to the chassis, put the pin of

the chassis in the longitudinal hole of the gear

block assembly and the top of the joint gear

that is attached to the chassis in the round hole

of the gear block assembly. Tighten the three

screws.

Check that the connector connects to the SE-

210 board.

(2) Connect the harness connector to the connec-

tor CN3 on the CUE-2 board.

(3) Attach the VH cleaner assembly.

(Refer to section 4-2-6.)

8. Cleaning of the Head

Clean the CUE head using a cleaning cloth moist-

ened with cleaning fluid.

After cleaning, be sure to wipe using a dry cleaning

cloth.

9. Cassette Compartment Installation

Attach the cassette compartment using the three

screws. (Refer to section 1-8 of Maintenance Man-

ual Part 1.)
