Step 4 Grasp the edges of the CI (as shown in Figure 7-15for the Cisco 7513 and Cisco 7513-MX, and Figure 7-16for the Cisco 7576) and pull it away from the backplane, up and out from behind the chassis panel. If necessary, gently rock the CI from side to side very slightly to dislodge its connector pins from the backplane connector.
