Edit Hunt Group Dialog Box

The Edit Hunt Group dialog box lets you modify the selected hunt group and add or remove members. The following table describes the fields in the dialog box.

Name

Hunt group name.

 

 

Description

The text description displayed in the Hunt Groups list.

 

 

Enabled

Clearing this check box lets you stop using a hunt group without deleting it.

 

 

No answer timeout

Number of seconds to wait for a hunt group member to answer a call before

 

giving up and trying another member.

 

 

Aliases

Lists the aliases (dial strings) that resolve to this hunt group. Click Add to add

 

an alias. Click Edit or Delete to change or remove the selected alias.

Search

Search for endpoints by alias, IP address, or registration status.

Add Alias Dialog Box

The Add Alias dialog box lets you add an alias value to the hunt group. Enter the alias in the Value box and click OK.

Aliases should be specified by their fully qualified dial string. For example, to specify that H.323 callers can call the hunt group by dialing 1234, enter 1234. To specify that SIP callers can call the hunt group by dialing 1234, enter sip:1234@mydomain.com.
