Upgrade Firmware on Programmable Circuit Packs

Verify hardware/software requirements
Make sure you know which download procedure to use and that you have all the hardware and
software that is necessary to proceed.
Given the type of target circuit pack to be upgraded, choose an appropriate source circuit
pack from the following table (Table 53: Download Method by Circuit Pack on page 235).
The last column indicates which download method must be used with the target and
chosen source.
Make sure you have the following:
Superuser or services login and password to the Avaya Communication Manager
PC or other server with the following:
- IP connectivity to the source board
- Web browser (Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher or Netscape 4.x)
- IP connectivity to the World Wide Web
- File transfer protocol (FTP) software program
