Upgrade Firmware on Programmable Circuit Packs

Verify hardware/software requirements
Make sure you know which download procedure to use and that you have all the hardware and
software that is necessary to proceed.
●Given the type of target circuit pack to be upgraded, choose an appropriate source circuit
pack from the following table (Table 53: Download Method by Circuit Pack on page 235).
The last column indicates which download method must be used with the target and
chosen source.
●Make sure you have the following:
●Superuser or services login and password to the Avaya Communication Manager
●PC or other server with the following:
- IP connectivity to the source board
- Web browser (Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher or Netscape 4.x)
- IP connectivity to the World Wide Web
- File transfer protocol (FTP) software program
