PRE-OPERATION CHECKS
Before operating the tractor, be sure you are
thoroughly familiar with the location and
operation of the controls.
Perform all daily lubrication and maintenance
operations as outlined in Section 3.
After completing the daily maintenance
operations, perform a walk around visual
inspectionof the tractor. Pay particular attention
to the following items:
DFan belt for cracks
DEngine area for accumulation of debris
DHoses, lines, and fittings for leaks or
damage.
DTires for damage
DHardware for looseness
DDriveline and hydraulic pump areas for
leaks or debris accumulation
DMakesure the tractor is ballasted properly
for the work to be performed (see
“Ballasting” in Section 2)
DCheck dual or triple wheel mounting bolt
torque
Make any necessary repairs before using the
tractor.
