Connecting to Devices
Turning Bluetooth on or of f
1. From the Hom e screen, tap the Menu key > Sett ings.
2. Slide the Bluetooth switch to th e ON or OFF position.
NOTE
Turn off Bluetooth when you are not usin g it to extend the life of your
battery between cha rges. You may also be required to turn Blu etooth
off in some locations. Blu etooth should be turned off du ring flight by
setting it to Airplane mo de.
Changing your phon e’s Bluetooth name
Your phone’s Bluetooth name is visible to other de vices when you
connect them. You can change the d efault name so that it is more
recognizable.
1. From the Hom e screen, tap the Menu key > Sett ings >
Bluetooth.
The Bluetooth s ettings screen opens.
2. If Bluetooth isn’t turned on, sl ide the Bluetooth switch from the OFF
position to the ON position.
3. Tap > Rename phone, enter a name, an d tap Rename.
Pairing your phone with a Bluetooth device
You must pair your phone with a device b efore you can connect to it.
Once you pair a device, it stays pa ired until you unpair them.
1. From the Hom e screen, tap the Menu key > Sett ings >
Bluetooth.
2. If Bluetooth isn’t turned on, sl ide the Bluetooth switch from the OFF
position to the ON position.
Your phone will sca n and display the IDs of all availa ble Bluetooth
devices in communica tion range.
