Entering and Editing Text
Shift Case key Tap once to capitalize the next cha racter
you type.
Touch and hold for all caps.

Delete key Deletes the preceding character.
If Word Reselect ion of XT9 Text
Input settings is checked, by placing
the cursor at the end of the word and
tapping the Delete key once, the wo rd is
highlighted and the orig inal selection list
is displayed.
Enter key Ac cepts an entry or inser ts a carriage
return.
Punctuation key Enters a common punctuati on mark with
a single key tap.
Touch and hold to open the popup menu
of common punctuations.
XT9/ABC key Switches between XT9 m ode and ABC
(Multi-tap) mode.
XT9 mode uses a built-in-d ictionary to
determine a word based on the en tered
characters. A word is entered mo re
quickly because you on ly need to tap
each key once per charac ter.
In ABC (Multi-tap) mod e, you need to
tap each key repeatedly unt il the desired
character appears.
Search key Tap to start a search.
