5. If you have created any playli sts, create a subfolder for them in your
music folder on the phone’s memo ry and copy the playlists into i t.

Unmount your phone’s storage from th e PC and disconnect the pho ne.
NOTES
• You can use subfolders on the phone’s memor y to organize your
music files, or simply co py the audio files to the top level of the
phone’s memory.
• If the music files have accomp anying artwork in JPEG fo rmat,
include it in the same fold er as the music files.
Warning!
• When connecting your pho ne to a PC and mounting its microSD
card, you must follow your PC’s instruction s for connecting and
disconnecting USB devi ces to avoid damaging or corr upting the
files on your microSD card.
• Failure to completely reseal t he Charging/Data Por t cover after use
may lead to water or other liquids ente ring the casing, which may
cause damage to the phone.
Opening Music and working with your librar y
After you have copied some mu sic to your phone’s memory accordi ng
to the instructions in “Copyin g music files to the phone’s Memor y” on
page 160, or downloaded music fro m another source, you can open
the Music application an d see your music library, sor ted in one of four
ways.
1. Tap the Apps icon on the Home screen.
2. Tap the Music icon to open.

card for music files and c reates a catalog of your music, ba sed on
