NOTE:The software license key is
only
valid forthe system serial number for which you activated the certificate.

Applying the So ftware License Key in the WebUI

To enablet heso ftwaremodule and functionality, you must apply the software license key to your controller:
1. Log in to your controller’s WebUI.
2. Navigate to the Configuration > Network > Contro ller > System Settings page and select the License tab.
3. Copy the software license key, fromyour email, and paste it into the Add New License Keyfield. Click Add.
4. Reboot your controller to enable the new license feature.

Applying the So ftware License Key in the License Wizard

Log in to your controller’s WebUI.
1. Launchthe License Wizard from the Configuration tab and click the New button.
2. The License Wizardwi llstep yo ut hroughthe activatio nprocess. Click on the Help tab within the License
Wizardfor addit ional assistance.
3. Reboot your controller to enable the new license feature.
Deleting a License
To remove a licensefrom a system:
1. Navigate to the Configuration > Network > Contro ller > System Settings page and select the License tab.
2. Scrolldown to theLicense Table and locate the license you want to delete.
3. Click the Delete buttonat the far right handside of t helicense to delete the license.
If a license featureis under an evaluation license,no key is generated when the featurei s deleted.
Moving Licens es
It may become necessary to move licenses from one controllerto another or simply delete the license for futureuse.
To move licenses, deletet helicense from the chassis as described in"Deleting a License " on page 106 . Theni nstall
the license keyo nt henew controller as described in "Applying the Software License Key in the WebUI" on page
106.

Resetting the Contro ller
Rebooting or resetting a controller has no effect on either permanent or evaluation licenses.
