3. Select theA AA Profiles tab.
a. In the AAA Profiles Summary, click Add to add a new profile.
b. Enter aaa_dot1x, then click Add.
a. Select the profile name you just added.
b. ForMA C Auth Default Role, select computer.
c. For 802.1x Authentication D efaultR ole,select faculty.
d. ClickA pply.
4. In the Profiles list (underthe aaa_dot1 xprofile), select 802.1x Authenticati on Profile.
a. From the drop-downmenu, select the dot1x 802.1x authenticatio n profileyo u configuredpreviously.
b. ClickA pply.
5. In the Profiles list (underthe aaa_dot1 xprofile), select 802.1x Authenticati on ServerGroup.
a. From the drop-downmenu, select the IAS server group you created previously.
b. ClickA pply.

Configuring V LANs
In this example,wireless clients are assigned to either VLAN 60 or 61 while guest users are assignedto VLAN63.
VLANs 60 and 61 split users into smallerIP subnetworks, improving performanceby decreasing broadcast traffic.
The VLANs are internalt o the Dell c ontrolleronly and do not extend into other parts of the wired network. The
clients’ defaultgateway is theDell controller,which routes traffic out to the 10.1.1.0 subnetwork.
You configurethe V LANs, assign IP addresses to each VLAN, and establish the “ helperaddress” to which client
DHCP requests are forwarded.
In the WebUI
1. Navigate to the Configuration > Network > VLANs page. Click Add to add VLAN 60 .
a. For VLAN ID, enter 60.
b. ClickA pply.
c. Repeat steps A and B to add VLA Ns 61 and 63.
2. To configureI P parametersfor the VLA Ns, navigatet o the Configuration > Network > IP > IPInterfaces
page.
a. Click Edit for VLAN 60.
b. ForI P Address, enter 10.1.60.1.
c. For Net Mask, enter 255.255.255.0.
d. UnderDHCP HelperAddress, click Add. Enter 10.1.1.25 and click Add.
e. Click Apply.
