the same priority. If you want to use an acti ve-standby topology then prioritize each uplink interfaces by entering
a differentpriorit y value (1– 4) for each uplink interface.

Enabling th e PPPoE Client
To authenticate to the BRAS and request a dynamic IP address, the controllermust have the following configured:
lPPPoE user name andpasswo rdto connect to the DSL network
lPPPoE service name — either an ISP name or a class of service configuredo nt heP PPoE server
Whenyou shut down the VLAN, t heP PPoE session terminates.
In the WebUI
1. N avigate to the Configuration > Network > IP > IP Interfaces page.
2. Click Edit for a previously-created VLAN.
3. Select Obtain an IP address with PPPoE.
4. E ntert heservice name, username, and password fort heP PPoE session.
