Configuring Firew allS ettings for Voice and Video A LGs

After configuringthe user roles, you must configure the firewallsetti ngsfor the voice and video A pplication-Level

Gateways (ALGs) to pass the traffic securely throughthe Dell devices.

You can uset heWebUI o rCLI to configure the firewallsett ingsfor the ALGs.

In the WebUI

1. N avigate to the Configuration > Advanced Services > Stateful Firewall page.

2. E nablethe firewall settings for the ALGs:

a. Select theStat eful SIPPr ocessing check box for the SIP ALG.

b. Select the Stateful H.323 Pr ocessing check box for the H.323 ALG.

c. Select the Stateful SCCPProcessin g checkbo x for the SCCP ALG.

d. Select the Stateful Vocera Process ing check box for the Vocera ALG.

e. Selectt heStatef ul UA Processing check box for the NOE ALG.

In the CLI

To enablet hefirewall settings for the SIP ALG:

(host) #configure terminal

(host) (config) #no firewall disable-stateful-sip-processing

To enablet hefirewall settings for the H.323 ALG:

(host) (config) #no firewall disable-stateful-h323-processing

To enablet hefirewall settings for the SCCP ALG:

(host) (config) #no firewall disable-stateful-sccp-processing

To enablet hefirewall settings for the Vocera ALG:

(host) (config) #no firewall disable-stateful-vocera-processing

To enablet hefirewall settings for the NOE ALG:

(host) (config) #no firewall disable-stateful-ua-processing

Additiona l Video Config urations

You can configureA rubaOSto reliably and efficiently stream video t raffico ver wireless LAN (WLAN). This new

method allowsyo uto stream video traffic reliablywi thout muchloss. To ensure that video data is transmitted

reliablydynamic multicast optimization techniques are used.

Althought hedynamic multicast opt imization conversion generates moret raffic,that traffic is buffered by the AP

and deliveredto the client when the client emerges from power-save mode.

Configuring Video over WLAN enhancements

To configure video over WLAN enhancements, do the following:

lEnable WMMon the SSID profile.

lEnable IGMPproxy or IGMP snooping.

lConfigurean ACL to set a DSCP value same as the wmm-vi-dscp valuein the SSID profile forprio ritizing the

multicast video traffic.

lEnable dynamic multicast optimization under VAP profile.

lConfigurethe dynamic multicast optimization threshold—The maximum numberof high throughput stations i n

a multicast group.The opti mization will stop if the numberexceeds the threshold value.
