Parameter Description
thatLMS after failover.
Remote-APDHCP S erverV LAN VLANID of the remote AP DHCP server used if thecontroll er is unavailable. This
VLANenables the DHCP server on the AP (also known as the remote AP DHCP server
VLAN).If you enter the native VLANID, the DHCP server is unavailable.
Remote-APDHCP Server Id IPaddress used as the DHCPserver identifier.
Remote-APDHCP Default Router IPaddress for the default DHCProuter.
Remote-APDHCP DNS Server IPaddress of the DNS server.
Remote-APDHCP P ool Start Configuresa DHCP pool for rem oteAPs. Thi si sthe first IP address of the DHCP pool.
Remote-APDHCP P ool End Configuresa DHCP pool for remote APs. This is the last IP address of the DHCP pool.
Remote-APDHCP P ool Netmask Configures a DHCPpool forremote APs. This is the netmask used for the DHCP pool.
Remote-APDHCP LeaseTime The amount of days that the assigned IP address is valid for the cl ient. Specify the
leasei n <days>. A value of 0 indicates the IP address is always valid; thelease does
notexpire.
Remote-APupl ink total bandwidth Thisi s the totalreserved upl ink bandwidth (in Kilobi tsper second).
Remote-APbw reservation1
Remote-APbw reservation2
Remote-APbw reservation3
SessionACLs with upli nkbandw idth reservationin kil obitsper second. You can
specifyup to three session ACLs toreserve uplink bandwi dth. The sum ofthe three
uplink bandwidths should not exceed the Remote-AP uplink total bandwidth .
Remote-APLocal NetworkAccess Enableor disable local network access across VLANs in a Remote-AP.
Advanced AP System Prof ile Setti ngs
Bootstrapthreshold Number ofconsecutive missed heartbeats on a GRE tunnel (heartbeatsare sent once
persecond on each tunnel) before an AP rebootstraps. On the controller, the GRE
tunneltim eouti s 1.5 x bootstrap-threshold;the tunnel istorn down after this number
ofseconds of inactivity on the tunnel. The supported range is 1-65535,and the default
valuei s 8.
DoubleEncrypt Thisparam eterappl ies only torem oteAPs. Use double encryption for traffic to and
froma w ireless client thati sconnected to a tunneled SSID.
Whenenabl ed, all traffic is re-encrypted in the IPsectunnel. Whendi sabled, the
wireless frame is only encapsulatedi nside theIPsec tunnel.
All othertypes of data traffic between the controller and the AP (wired trafficand
trafficfrom a split-tunneled SSID) are always encrypted in the IPsec tunnel.
DumpSer ver (Fordebugging purposes.) Specifies the server to receive a core dump generated
when an APpr ocesscrashes.
HeartbeatDSCP Assigna DSCP value to AP heartbeats to prioritize heartbeats traveling over low-
speedli nks.The supported range is 0-63, and the default value is 0. For more
information, see "PrioritizingAP heartbeats" on page 420.
MaintenanceMode Enable or disable AP maintenance mode.
Thissetting is useful when deploying, m aintaining, or upgrading the network.
Ifenabled, APs stop flooding unnecessary traps and syslogm essagesto network
management systemsor network operations centers when depl oying, maintaining, or
