Configuring a Health-Check Ping
The health-checkping will be associat ed with an ESI group, along with servers, so that controller will send ICMP
echo requestst o each serverin the group and mark the serverdow ni ft heco ntrollerdoes not hear from the server.
The health-checkparameters used in this example are:
lFrequency—30seconds. (The default is 5 seco nds.)
lRetry-count—3. (The defaultis 2 .)
lTimeout—2 seconds. (Thedefault is 2 seconds.)

Configuring ESI Servers
Hereare the E SI server CLI configuration tasks:
lConfigureserver mode to be NAT.
lConfigurethe trusted IP address (the server IP address to which packets shouldbe redirected).
lTo redirect to a different port thant heo riginaldestinatio npo rti n the packet,configure an alternate destination
port.
