Monitoring Firewall s
The Firewall pageo n the Dashboard tab displays the Policy Enforcement Firewall(P EF) summaryo fall the sessions
in the controlleraggregated by users, devices, destinations, applicati ons, WLANs, and roles.
By default,firewall visibility i s disabledon the controller. To enable this feature, uset hefollowing procedures.
In the WebUI
1. Navi gate to the Dashboard > Firewall page.
2. Click the link on the Element View section to enablefirewall visibility . To disable, click the Disable Firewall
linkat the bottom of the Element View section.
In the CLI
(host)(config) #firewall-visibility
To disable this setting, include the no parameter.

Element V iew

Navigate to the Dashboard > Firewall page to view Element View section. This sect ion displays a summary of all
the sessions in the controllerand includes six categories of monitoring data, or elements, that display traffic
statistics aggregated by the following elements:

Element Description

User Indicatesa wirel essor wi red userassociated to the controller.
Trafficthat is not generated by a user is aggregated as non-user traffic.
Devices Specifies the client device type.
Forexample, W indows 7,Mac OS X, iP hone, orAndroid.
