7. Co nfigureVIA Client WLAN Profiles—You can push WLAN profiles to end-usercomputers that use the
Microsoft Windows Wireless Zero Config (WZC) service to configure and maintain their wireless networks.
After the WLAN profilesare pushed to end-user computers, they are automatically displayedas an ordered list in
the preferrednetworks. The VIA client WLAN profiles provisioned on the client can be selected from the VIA
connection profile described in Step 6. For details, see "Configure VIA Client WLAN Profiles" on page 562 .

Using the W ebUI to Config ure VIA
The followingst eps illustrate configuringyour controller for VIA using the WebUI.

Enable VPN Server Module

You must install the PEFV license to configureand assi gnuser roles. See Software Licenses on page 100 for licensing
requirements.
To install a license:
1. N avigate to Configuration >Network >Controller and select the Licenses tab on the right hand side.
2. P aste the license key in the AddNew License key text box and click the Add button.

Create VIA User Roles

To create VIA users roles:
1. N avigate to Configuration >Security >Access Control >User Roles.
2. Click A ddt o create new policies. Click Done after creating the userrole and apply to save it to the
configuration.

Create VIA Authenticat ion Profile

This followingst epsi llustratethe procedure to create anauthenticati onprofile to authenticate users against a server
group.
1. N avigate to Configuration >Security >Authentication >L3 Authentication.
2. U nderthe
Profiles
section, expand the VIA Authentication Profile o ption. You can configuret he following
parametersfor the authenticati on profile:

MaxAuthentication Failures Specifies them aximum authentication failures allow ed. The default is 0 (zero).

3. To create a new authentication profile:
a. Enter a name for the new authentication profile under the VIA
AuthenticationProfiles
section and click the
Add button.
b. Expand the VIA Authentication Profiles option and select t he new profilename.
