NOTE:Thi s charti s not available for W-AP120 Series or W-AP68 access points. Ahybrid AP on a20MHz channelwill see 40 MHz
Wi-Fi dataas non-Wi-Fi data.
This chart can show an average for all samplest akeno ver the last second, the maximum FFT power measuredfor all
samplest akenover ten channel sweeps, and the greatest FFT power recordedsince the chart was last reset. When
you hover your mouse over any line, a tooltip shows t he power leveland channel or frequency level representedby
that point in the graph. When you hover your mouse over a frequencylevel (within the blue brackets on the graph), a
tooltip shows the types of devices seen on that frequency,as well as each device’s BSSID, power level, channels
affectedand the ti met hedevice w as last seenby t hespect rummonitor.

By default,t his chart shows the maximum power level recordedfor any deviceon all channels or frequencies
monitored by the spectrum monitor radio.
Table2 28 describes the other parametersyou can use to custo mize the Real-time FFT chart.Click the down arrow
in the upperright corner of this chart then click the Options menu to access these configuration settings. Once you
have configuredthe desired parameters, click OK at the bottom of the Options menu to save yoursettings and
returnto thespectrum dashboards.
Parameter Description
Band Radio band displayed in this graph.
Forspectrum moni tor radios using the 5 GHz radio band, cli ck the Banddr op-down list and select 5 GHz
upper,5GHzmiddl e or 5Ghzl owertodi splaydata for that portion of the 5Ghzradio band. This parameter is
notconfigurable for graphs cr eatedby hybri d APs or spectrum monitor radios that use the 2.4 GHz radio
band.
Channel
Numbering
Forspectrum moni torsusing the5GHz radi o band, select either 20 MHz or 40 MHz channel numbering to
identifya channel num bering scheme for thegraph.
NOTE:Thi s parameter is not configurable for graphs created by hybrid APs or spectrum moni torr adios that
usethe 2.4 GHz radio band. A hybrid AP on a 20 MHz channel sees 40 MHz Wi-Fi data as non-Wi-Fi data.
X-Axis Selectei ther Channel or Frequency to show FFTpow er fora range of channels or frequencies. If you select
Frequency, you must select the radio frequency on which this chart should center, and determine the span
offrequencies for the graph.
Channel
Range
Ifyou selected Channel in the X-Axis parameter, you must also specify a channel range to determine which
channelsappear i n theX -axisof this chart. Cli ckthe first drop-down list to select the lowest channel in the
range, thencl ick thesecond drop-down l istto select the highest channel to appear in the chart.
