Note the following limitations when creating guest entries in a CVS file:
lNone of the field values can have a comma
lTherei s no format checking on field.Only the local-userdb-guestCLI commandw illvalidate properformat.
lAny extra columns,beyond the 9 th column,are discarded.
lThe WebUI onlysupports characters that the CLI supports.
lIf a guest’s userI D is not provided, then it is automatically generated based on thenumeric suffix in the Import
Guest List window. See Figure 269.
lWe recommenda maximum of 25 0 entries per CSV file.
Importingthe CSV File into the Database
To import a CSV file that contai ns multipleguest entries, the Guest P rovisioning user must follow these steps:
1. Log in to the WebUI using the usernameand password assigned to the Guest Provisioning user.
2. Click on Import. The Import Guest List pop-up window displays. See Figure 269.
