ArubaOSsupports the following radio resource management information elements (RRM IEs) for A Ps with 802.11k
support enabled.These settings can be enabledthrough the WebUI or CLI.
To select the RRM IEs to be sent in beacons and probe responses using the WebUI:
1. N avigate to Configuration>Advanced Services>All Profile Man agement.
2. E xpandthe Wir eless LAN menuand select RRM IE.
3. Select the RRM I E profile you want to configure,then select any of the following IE types to enablet hat
information elementi n beacons and probe responses.(A llI E types are sent by default.)
Parameter Description
AdvertiseEnabled Capabil ities IE Thisvalue is used to determine if the RRM Enabled Capabilities IE should be
advertisedin the beacon frames. A value of "Enabled" allows the RRM Enabl ed
Capabilities IE to be presentin the beacon frames when 802.11K capability is
enabled. A value of"Disabled" prevents the advertisement of the RRM Enabled
Capabilities IE in the beacon frames when 802.11Kcapabil ityi senabl ed.
AdvertiseCountry IE Thisvalue i sused to determine if the Country IE should be advertised in the
beaconframes. A value of "Enabled" all ows theC ountryIE to be present in the
beaconframes w hen 802.11Kcapabi lity is enabled. A value of "Disabled" prevents
theadvertisement of the Country IE in the beacon frames when 802.11Kcapabil ity
isenabl ed.

thebeacon frames. A value of "Enabled" allow sthe Pow er ConstraintIE to be
presentin the beacon frames when 802.11K capability is enabled. A value of
"Disabled"prevents the advertisement of the Power Constraint IE in the beacon
frameswhen 802.11Kcapability is enabled.
AdvertiseTPC Report IE Thisvalue is used todetermi ne if theTP C Report IE should be advertisedin the
beaconframes. A value of "Enabled" all ows theTP C Report IE tobe present in the
beaconframes w hen 802.11Kcapabi lity is enabled. A value of "Disabled" prevents
theadvertisement of the TPC Report IE in the beacon frames when 802.11K
capability is enabled.
AdvertiseQBSS Load IE Thisvalue is used todetermi ne if theQBSS Load IE should be advertised in the
beaconframes. A value of "Enabled" all ows theQBSS Load IE to be present in the
beaconframes w hen 802.11Kcapabi lity is enabled. A value of "Disabled" prevents
theadvertisement of the QBSS Load IE in the beacon frames when 802.11K
capability is enabled. The default value is "Enabl ed".
