lpattern—is the digit pattern or the numberof digits that wi llbe dialed by the user. You can specify digit pattern
using ‘X’,‘Z’, ‘N’, ‘[]’, and ‘.’.
nX is a wild card that represents any character from0 to 9.
nZ is a wild card that represents any characterfrom 1 to 9.
nN is a wild card that represents any characterfrom 2 t o 9.
n. (period) is a wild card that representsany-length digit strings.
laction—is the prefix codet hat is automatically prefixedto the dialed number. This is specified as <prefix-
code>%e. Examplesof prefix codes are:
n9%e: The number9 is prefixed to the dialed number.
n91%e: The number9 1 is prefixed to the dialed number.

Configuring Dial Pl ans
You can configurea maximum of two dial plan profiles and maximum of 20 dial plans per profile. The dial plan must
be associated to a SIP ALG co nfiguration.
To configure a dial plan for SIP devices:
1. Create a voice dial plan
2. A ssociate the dial plan with SIP ALG
In theWebUI
1. I n the WebUI, navigate to Configuration > Advanced Services > All Pr ofiles > Controller > Dialplan
Profile. Enter a name fort hedial plan profile and click the Add button.
