Airprime is the reliable catch-all driver,Sierra is for certain Sierra cards, andc dc-acmis a legacy abstract control
modem driver.Your goal is to assign a driver for the unclaimed (none) interfaces (If#).
If no option driver appears or only storage interfaces appear, then the modem must be switched to data mode
(see "Switching Modes"o n page7 32).
Configuring th e TTY Port
1. Vi ew the exposedTTY ports by executingt heshow usb ports 13 command.

In the exampleabove, the command reveals four exposedT TY ports.One is the modem port, while the other
ports are for GPS, real-times tatistics, or diagnostics. If the commanddoes not revealany ports or if only storage
devices (such as ‘sr0’) appear,t hent hedevic e must be switched to data mode before proceeding. See "Switching
Modes" on page 732 for instruction.
2. Send a test AT commandt o determinet hec orrectmodem port.

In the exampleabove, the TTY port responds with an ‘OK’. This indicates that ttyUSB0 i s a valid modemport.
Theremay be more than one modem port;yo ucan continue to send AT commands to determine which ports are
modem ports. If the port is not a valid modem port, a time out error is generated as shown in the examplebelow
