Configuring IPv6 Ad dresses
You can configureIP v6 addresses for the managementinterface, VLAN i nterface,and the loopback interface of the
controller.The controller can have up to three IPv6 addresses for eachV LAN interface.The I Pv6 address configured
on the loopback interfaceor the first VLA N interfaceo ft hec ontrollerbecomes the default IPv6 address of the
controller.
NOTE:If only one IPv6 address is configured on the controller, it becomes the default IPv6address of the controller. With this
releaseof ArubaOS, youcan delete this IPv6 address.
You can configureI Pv6 interface address using the WebUI or CLI.
In the WebUI

ToConfigure Link Local Address

1. N avigate to the Configuration > Network > IP page and select the IP Interfaces tab.
2. E dit a VLAN # and select IP version as IP v6.
3. E ntert helink local address in the Link Local Address field.
4. Click t he Applybutto n to apply the configuration.

ToConfigure Global Unicast Address

1. N avigate to the Configuration > Network > IP page and select the IP Interfaces tab.
2. E dit a VLAN # and select IP version as IP v6.
3. E ntert heglobal unicast address and the prefix-lengthin the IP A ddress/Prefix-length field.
