NOTE:If you are using the controller’s internal database for user authentication, use the predefined “Internal”server group.
You can also include conditions for server-deriveduser roles or VLA Ns in the server group configuration.T he server
derivation rulesapply t o all serversi n the group.
Configuring Servers
This section describes how to configureR ADIUS, LDAP, TACA CS+ and Windows externalauthentication s ervers
and thei nternaldatabase on the controller.

Configuring a R ADIUS Server

Table4 8 describes the parameters you configurefor a RADIUS server.
Parameter Description
Host IPaddress or fully qualified dom ain name (FQDN)of the authentication server. The maximum
supportedFQDN length is 63 characters.

Key Sharedsecret between the controller and the authentication server. The maximum length is 128
characters.
