Command Usage
Once the IP address is set, the VLAN ID’s value will be assigned to management VLAN.
7.3.1.6 ip default-gateway
This command sets the IP Address of the default gateway.
Syntax
ip default-gateway <gateway>
no ip default-gateway
< gateway > - IP address of the default gateway
no - Restore the default IP address of the default gateway
Default Setting
IP address: 0.0.0.0

7.3.1.7 ip address protocol
This command specifie s the network configuration protocol to be used. If you modify this value, the
change is effective immediately.
Syntax
ip address protocol {bootp | dhcp | none}
<bootp> - Obtains IP address from BOOTP.
<dhcp> - Obtains IP address from DHCP.
<none> - Obtains IP addre ss by setting configuration.
