Selection Criteria
MST ID - Selects one MST instance from existing MST instances.
Slot/Port - Selects one of the physi cal o r LAG interface s asso ciated with VLANs associ ated with the
selected MST instance.
Configurable Data
Port Priority - The priority for a particular port within the selected MST instance. The port priority is
set in multiples of 16. For ex ample, if you set the prio rity to any value between 0 and 15, it will be set
to 0. If it is tried to be set to any value between 16 and (2*16-1) it will be set to 16 and so on.
Port Path Cost - Set the Path Cost to a new value for the specified port in the selected MST instance.
It takes a value in the range of 1 to 200000000.
Non-Configurable Da ta
Auto-calculate Port Path Cost - Displa ys whether the path cost is automatically calculated
(Enabled) or not (Disabl ed). Path cost will be calculated based on the link speed of the port if the
configured value for Port Path Cost is zero.
Port ID - The port identifier for the specified port within the sele cted MST instance. It is made up from
the port priority and the interface number of the port.
Port Up Time Since Counters Last Cleared - Time since the counters were last cleared, displayed
in Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds.
Port Mode - Spanning Tree Protocol Administrative Mode associated with the port or LAG. The
possible values are Enable or Disable.
Port Forwarding State - The Forwardi ng State of this port.
Port Role - Each MST Bridge Port that is enabled is assigned a Port Role for e ach spanning tree. The
port role will be one of the following values: Root Port, Designated Port, Alternate Port, Backup Port,
Master Port, or Disabled Port.
Designated Root - Root Bridge for the selected MST instance. It is made up using the bridge prio rity
and the base MAC address of the bridge.
