7.2.5.8 switchport gmrp
This command enables GMRP Multicast Registration Protocol on a selected interface. If an interface
which has GMRP enabled is enabled for routing or is enlisted as a member of a port-channel (LAG),
GMRP functionality will be disabled on that interface. GMRP functionality will subseque ntly be re-enabled
if routing is disabled or port-channel (LAG) mem bership is removed from an interface that has GMRP
enabled.
