• Other Designated Rou ter - The interface is connected to a broadca st or NBM A network on
which other routers have b een selected to be the De signated Router and Backup Designated
Router either. The router attempts to form adjacencies to both the Design ated Router and the
Backup Designated Router.
The State is only displayed if the OSPFv3 admin mode is enabled .
Designated Router - The identity of the Desi gnated Router for this network, in the view of the
advertising router. The Designated Rout er is identified here by its router ID. The value 0.0.0.0 means
that there is no Designated Router. This f ield is only displayed if the OSPFv3 admin mode is enabled.
Backup Designated Router - The identity of the Backup Designated Router for this network, in the
view of the advertising router. The Backup Design ated Router is identified here by its router ID. Set to
0.0.0.0 if there is no Backup Designated Router. This field is only di splayed if the OSPFv3 admin
mode is enabled.
Number of Link Events - This is the number of times the specified OSPFv3 interface has changed
its state. This field is only displayed if the OSPFv3 admin mode is enabled.
Command Buttons
Submit - Send the updated configuration to the switch. Configuration changes take effect
immediately. These changes will not be retained across a power cycle unless a save is performed.
