Command Buttons
Submit - Send the updated configuration to the switch. Configuration changes take effect
immediately. These changes will not be retained across a power cycle unless a save is performed.
11.9.1.2 Configuring MLD Interface Configuration Page
Selection Criteria
Admin Mode - Select the slot and port for which data is to be displayed or configured from the
pulldown menu. Slot 0 is the base unit. You must have configured at least one router interfa ce before
configuring or displaying data for an MLD interface, otherwise an error me ssage will be displayed.
Configurable Data
IPv6 Router MLD - Select enable or disable from the pull do wn menu to set the administrativ e status
of MLD on the selected interface.The default value is disabl e.
Version - Enter the version to be configured on the selected interface. Valid values are (1 to 2) The
default value is 2.
Query Interval - Enter the frequency in seconds at which MLD host-query packets are to be
transmitted on this interface. Valid values are from (1 to 3600) . The default value is 125.
Query Max Response Time - Enter the maximum qu ery response time to be advertised in MLDv2
queries on this interface, in milli-seconds.Valid values are from (0 to 65535) . The default value is
10000milliseconds.
Last Member Query Interval - Enter the last member query interval in milli-seconds. This the
maximum response time to be inserted into group-specific queries sent in re sponse to leave group
messages, and is also the amount of tim e between group-sp ecifi c query m essages. Valid val ues are
from (0 to 65535) . The default value is 1000 milli seconds.
Last Member Query Count - Enter the number of queries to be sent on receiving a leave group
report. Valid values are from (1 to 20) . The default value is 2.
Non-Configurable Da ta
Robustness - Enter the robustn ess value. This variable allows tuning for the expected packet loss o n
a subnet. If you expect the subnet to be lossy, you should enter a higher n umber for this parameter.
