A prompt will appear after the com m and is
entered requesting the old password. In the
absence of an old password leave the a rea
blank. The operator must press enter to
execute the command.
The system then prompts the user for a new
password then a prompt to confirm the new
password. If the new password and the
confirmed password match a message will be
displayed.
The user password should not be more than
eight characters in length.

This will save passwords and all other
changes to the device.
If you do not save config, all configurations will
be lost when a power cycle is performed on the
switch or when t he switch is reset.

To view the network parameters the operator can access the device by the following three methods.
• Simple Network Management Protocol - SNMP
• Telnet
• Web Browser
