10.4.2.20 area stub
This command creates a stub area for the specified area ID. A stub area is characteri zed by the fact that
AS External LSAs are not propagated into the area. Removing AS External LSAs and Summary LSAs
can significantly reduce the link state database of routers within the stub area.
Syntax
area <areaid> stub
no area <areaid> stub
<areaid> - Area ID.
<no> - This command deletes a stub area for the specified area ID.

10.4.2.21 area stub no-summary
This command disable s the import of Summary LSAs for the stub area identified by <areaid>.
Syntax
area <areaid > stub n o-summary
no area <areaid> stub no-summary
<areaid> - Area ID.
no - This command sets the Summary LSA import mode to the default for the st ub area identified by
<areaid>.
