8.3.2.42 ip ospf priority

ip ospf priority command sets the OSPF priority for the specified router interface. The priority of the
interface is a priority integer from 0 to 255. A value of 0 indicates that the router is not eligibl e to become
the designated router on this network. no ip ospf priority command sets the default OSPF priority for the
specified router interface.

8.3.2.43 ip ospf retransmit-interval

ip ospf retransmit command sets the OSPF retransmit Interval for the specified interface. The retransmit
interval is specified in seconds. The value for <seconds> is the number of seconds between link-state
advertisement retransmissions for adjacencies belonging to this router interface. This value is also used
when retransmitting database descri ption and link-state request packets. Valid values range from 0 to
3600 (1 hour). no ip ospf retransmit command sets the default OSPF retransmit Interval for the
specified interface.
