The user can go to the CLI Global Configuration Mode to unlock a locked user account, use the
username <name> unlock global configuratio n com mand.

username <username> u nlock
<name> - is a user name (Range: up to 8 characters).

7.7.2.3 username snmpv3 authentication
This command specifies the authentication protocol to be used for the specified login user. Th e valid
authentication protocols a re none, md5 or sha. If md5 or sha are spe cified, the use r login passwo rd will
be used as the snmpv3 authentication password. The <username > is the login user name for which the
specified authentication protocol will be used.
Syntax
username snmpv3 authentication <username> {none | md5 | sha}
no username snmpv3 authenticatio n <username>
<username> - is the login use r name.
md5 - md5 authentication method.
sha - sha authentication method.
