7.4.2.9 spanning-tree hold-count
This command sets the Bridge Tx Hold Count parameter to a new value for the common and internal
spanning tree. The Tx Hold Count value i s in a ran ge of 1 to 110.
Syntax
spanning-tree hold-count <1-10>
no spanning-tree hold-count
<1-10> - the Maximum hol d-count value (Range: 1-110).
no - This command sets the Bridge Tx Hold Count parameter for the common and internal sp anning
tree to the default value.

7.4.2.10 spanning-tree mst
This command adds a multiple spannin g tree instan ce to the switch. The instance <1-3 965> is a number
within a range of 1 to 3965 that corresponds to the new instance ID to be added. The maximum number of
multiple instances supported is 4.
Syntax
spanning-tree mst instance <1-4094>
no spanning-tree mst instance <1-4094>
<1-4094> - multiple spanning tree instance ID.
no - This command removes a multiple span ning tree instance from the switch and reallocates all
VLANs allocated to the deleted instance to the common and inte rnal spanning tree. The instance
<1-4094> is a number that corre sp onds to the desired existing multiple spanning tree instance to be
removed.
