Upstream Neighbor: This field indicates the IP Address of the ne ighbor which is the source for the
packets for a specified multica st address.
Interface: This field displays the interface used to receive the packets sent by the sources.
Metric: This field displays the distance in hops to the source subnet. This field has a different
meaning than the Interface Metric field.
Expiry Time(secs): This field indi cates the expiry time in se conds. This i s the time remaining f or this
route to age out.
Up Time(secs): This field i ndicates the time when a specified route was le arnt, in seconds.

9.1.2.1 ip dvmrp
This command set s administrative mode of DVMRP in the router to active. IGMP must be enabled befo re
