7.Attach the protective front cover with retained screws.
8.Reinstall the front panel and reconnect the power cable (See Section 5.1.1).
9.Reinstall the back panel (See Section 5.1.2).
10.If this is an upgrade, install the upgrade label that comes with the upgrade kit to the side of the unit near the serial number. (See Section 7.2).
7.8Removing the backplane assembly
Caution: Be sure to observe all ESD precautions and power off procedures.
Looking from the rear, the power supply is on the right.
1.Remove the rear panel (See Section 5.1.2).
2.Disconnect the power cable from the controller.
3.Remove the front panel (See Section 5.1.1). The yellow LED should be off (See Section 1.2).
4.Unseat the motherboard assembly (See Section 5.2)
5.At the rear, remove the locking screw on the right hand side of the backplane assembly.
