Initial Setup

Caution: You have super-user permission and could inadvertently change/delete any and all files, therefore, it is important that you follow these steps verbatim.

Step 5 Assign a password to root by using the passwd root command. The password must contain at least six characters. Only the first eight characters are significant; longer passwords can be used but the additional characters are ignored.

Step 6 Enter the LCSADM system administration interface by entering lcsadm at the root prompt.
