Configuring an Engine

The engine properties specified in the configuration file are described in the following table:

priority (integer—positive or negative). String

DATABASE_TYPE

Database type. Can have the following values:

 

 

ORACLE, SYBASE, …(any database system

 

 

supported by iPlanet UDS).

DATABASE_NAME

Name of database.

DATABASE_USER_NAME

Database logon user name.

DATABASE_USER_PASSWORD

string

Database logon password. The password is

 

 

encrypted.

LOGGING

string

Specifies which tables (current state and history

 

 

log) are enabled and which object state changes

 

 

are recorded if the history log is enabled. String

 

 

contains any of the following entries, separated

 

 

by commas, that are enabled:
