Filtering Event Messages 381

Filtering Events by You can limit the events you see in Event tab based on event severity.

Severity

1Click on the Severity tab.

2Select or clear the severity levels to display (the following descriptions are WX-based):

„Emergency—The WX is unusable.

„Alert—Action must be taken immediately.

„Critical—You must resolve the critical condition. If you do not resolve the condition, the WX might reboot or shut down.

„Error—The WX is missing data or unable to form a connection.

„Warning—A possible problem exists.

„Notice—Events that potentially can cause system problems have occurred. These are logged for diagnostic purposes.

„Info—Informational messages only. No problems exist.

„Debug—Output from debugging.

By default, all severity levels are selected. Toggle the All checkbox to select or clear all severity levels.

3After selecting the severity levels to log, click Apply to filter out the unwanted severity levels from the list.

Filtering Events by You can limit the events you see in Event Viewer by network facility or Facility 3WXM facility.

1Click on the Facility tab.

2Select or deselect individual facilities.

3After selecting the facilities to log, click Apply to filter out the unwanted facilities from the list.
