Using the Explore Window 405

In either the link display or the floor display, the operational status of 3Com equipment is indicated by the following colors:

„Green — Up

„Yellow — Up (but with minor service degradation)

„Orange — Up (but with major service degradation)

„Red — Down

„Blue — Unknown

Toolbar Options The Explore view has a toolbar in the link display and the floor display. Table 33 lists the options on the toolbar in the link display.

Refresh the information.

Fit the view in the window.

Show network ports. A network port provides a physical link to

Ethernet devices.

Show MAPs.

Display the view in reverse video.
